Welcome To CrossFit JAK Elite!
CrossFit is a core strength & conditioning program that delivers a fitness that is by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Elements of track & field, gymnastics, weightlifting, and strongman are combined in short intense daily workouts to maximize results for any individual. CrossFit teaches functional movement patterns, or, movements that you find in real life -pushing, pulling, squatting, jumping, throwing, carrying, and sprinting.

What brought you to CrossFit JAK?
Friend recommended it as I was getting bored at Anytime Fitness
Did you have any fears or apprehension before you started at CrossFit JAK?
Not really, was excited about the challenge and learning new skills.
How would you say this program is different than others you’ve tried?
I like doing something different every day, also don't have to think as the whole program is on the board for you ready to go! I love the the social aspect of group training and always having a coach available for help or to push you.
What is something you can do now that you weren’t able to do before you started?
Hand stand push ups, pull ups, Olympic lifts.
How has CrossFit JAK changed who you are?
I used to focus on how exercise changed how I looked, but I now focus on what I can do!
What has surprised you most since you started?
How much I have enjoyed the social aspect of training with morning "crew".
A lot of people are worried they’re not fit enough to try CrossFit. What would you say to them?
Give it a crack! Crossfit makes you fit, you can scale or do alternate exercises. It really is for everyone! Three years n and I'm not even remotely bored!!
